BCS Bowl Match-Ups Set: LSU and Alabama will rematch

Published Dec. 4, 2011 12:00 a.m. ET

It will be a rematch in the BCS "title" game between LSU and Alabama on January 9th. Like I said last night, I think LSU won the AP national title with the SEC championship game win.

But am I looking forward to covering the "title" game for OKTC and seeing what Bourbon Street is like with two SEC rivals playing in this game?

Hell, yes.

An hour before the official BCS announcements on ESPN, all of the BCS games are set.

The only thing ESPN had left to show us was the difference between Alabama and Oklahoma State at 2 and 3. Alabama was .942 and Oklahoma state was .933. Yep, .009 separated the two teams.

In the end, the SEC will win its sixth straight national title.

On January 3rd the Sugar Bowl will feature Virginia Tech -- WTF -- against Michigan.

The Orange Bowl will have Clemson against West Virginia on January 4th. (As a bonus the official Orange Bowl site isn't even keeping this a secret. They're already selling merchandise).

The Rose Bowl on January 2nd will match-up Wisconsin and Oregon.

The Fiesta Bowl, also on January 2nd, will be Stanford against Oklahoma State.

In other SEC news, Arkansas is headed to the Cotton Bowl to face Kansas State, South Carolina will play Nebraska in the Capital One Bowl, Georgia will play Michigan State in the Outback Bowl, Auburn will play Virginia in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl,  Florida will play Ohio State in the Gator Bowl, Mississippi State will play Wake Forest in the Music City Bowl, and Vanderbilt will play Cincinnati in the Liberty Bowl.

I'll eventually post the entire bowl roster here, but just wanted y'all to have the BCS games in one place to check out.

Rush to book your travel now, and I'll see y'all in New Orleans.
