WACO, Texas (AP) -- Bob Bicknell has been hired as wide receivers coach at Baylor after working with four NFL teams over the past 10 seasons.

New Baylor coach Matt Rhule announced Bicknell's hiring Thursday, a week after Matt Lubick left to be receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator at Washington, the same role he had at Baylor.

When Lubick left, Baylor quarterbacks coach Glenn Thomas joined running backs coach Jeff Nixon in a co-offensive coordinator role.

Bicknell, the son of former Boston College coach Jack Bicknell, was receivers coach for the San Francisco 49ers last season. He previously was with the Philadelphia Eagles (2013-15), Kansas City Chiefs (2007-09) and Buffalo Bills (2010-12).

Before that, Bicknell was offensive line coach at Temple in 2006, when Rhule was coaching the Owls defensive line.
