San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito will donate $500 for every MLB strikeout today in honor of homecoming troops and his late father, Joe.
Zito's donation will go to 'Welcome Back Veterans', an organization committed to providing care to veterans and their families.
The WBV foundation will also receive one-hundred percent of the profits from the "Stars and Stripes" cap and uniform sales, which every MLB team will wear today to celebrate July 4th.
