Barkley jokes he's on water and vodka-only hunger strike until Lakers win

The Los Angeles Lakers may spell the end for Charles Barkley, who said on TNT's "Inside the NBA" that he would not eat until the Lakers won a game this season.

Right now, the Kobe Bryant-led Lakers are 0-5, the only winless team in the NBA besides the Philadelphia 76ers, who won only 19 games last season.

A longtime Weight Watchers spokesman, Sir Charles has had his body mass fluctuate over the years. But this Lakers team really could send Barkley spinning in a bad direction, which someone in the TNT photo department nicely depicted in this five-frame graphic.

That Golden State game is only nine days away (Nov. 16). We're all counting on you, Kobe.

If the Lakers can beat New Orleans, all will end well for Barkley.
