Barcelona's Clinic Hospital says a 47-year-old man has died of a heart attack after running in the Barcelona marathon.
The hospital says he suffered the attack during the race on Sunday and passed away shortly after arriving at the clinic. Gezahgne Abrera of Ethiopia won the race in 2 hours, 10 minutes, 17 seconds. Countrywoman Lemelen Berha won the women's event in 2:34:39.
