MADISON -- The 13th-ranked Wisconsin men's hockey squad endured a 3-2 setback at the hands of visiting Alaska-Anchorage Friday night, in front of 8,411 at the Kohl Center. The loss snapped Wisconsin's six-game winning streak.

Alaska-Anchorage claimed control of this nonconference tilt by late in the second period, when Blake Tatchell scored to hand the Seawolves (9-8-2 overall) a decisive, 3-1 advantage.

Despite two assists from Michael Mersch, Wisconsin could never completely recover, as it fell to 10-6-1 overall on the season. The Badgers got goals from Mark Zengerle and Tyler Barnes but trailed by a pair of goals throughout much of the contest's final period.

UAA got 26 saves from netminder Chris Kamal in its victory. Wisconsin's Landon Peterson recorded 15 saves.
