Before the season there was some thought that Austin Hudson might have an immediate impact for Wisconsin.
The "true" freshman safety has seen mostly special teams work, but this past week against Maryland he did lead all freshmen with four tackles.
Meanwhile, it sure seems like Rafael Gaglianone has cemented down the job of placekicker.
Also, let me note again that I take all the information here of who played from Wisconsin's participation chart which is posted online . . . and that isn't always accurate and often is updated.
For example, last week Jeremy Patterson (and Jack Cichy) were listed as having played, but that was indeed not the case, as I suspected. Thus week, Jazz Peavy was not on the participation list, but I clearly saw him when reveiwing the game tape (and in fact, made sure to find him and pause it to confirm).
