MIAMI (AP) -- Marlins first baseman Logan Morrison has been scratched from the starting lineup for Friday's game against St. Louis because of back tightness.
Morrison gave the Marlins' moribund offense a lift when he was activated Sunday after being sidelined since right knee surgery last September. He's 4 for 9 in three games.
Morrison's back bothered him when he took early batting practice Friday, and he'll likely miss at least a couple of games, manager Mike Redmond said.
