MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) Australia skipper Steve Smith won the toss and sent India in to bat as he pushed for a series-clinching victory in Sunday's third one-day international.
Australia won the opening match in Perth by five wickets, chasing 310, and the second match in Brisbane by seven wickets, chasing 309.
The hosts made one change to the lineup for the Melbourne Cricket Ground match, with all-rounder Mitchell Marsh returning in favor of fast bowler Joel Paris.
India, needing a victory to keep the five-match series alive, made two changes with Rishi Dhawan and Guukeerat Singh Mann selected for their debut ODI matches at the expense of Ravi Ashwin and Manish Pandey.
