Atlanta Braves pitcher Tommy Hanson did stretching exercises with his teammates on Tuesday but he could not pitch to batters because he has yet to pass a concussion test.

Hanson, 25, plans to retake the test on Thursday, and if he passes it, he can return to his regular routine.

Hanson sustained what was called a Grade-1 concussion as a result of an automobile accident on Feb. 20.

Hanson has done some long-distance throwing, hurling a series of balls from distances of 90, 120 and 150 feet. He hopes to be able to throw off a mound on Wednesday.
