ASU volleyball signs three recruits
TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State volleyball head coach Jason Watson has signed three players to national letters of intent.
Joining the Sun Devils for the recruiting class of 2013 are BreElle Bailey and McKenzie Willey of Highland, Utah, and Kwyn Johnson of Kalispell, Mont.
Bailey is a 6-4 middle blocker from Lehi High School in Highland. Her father, Thurl, had a 12-year NBA career after starring at North Carolina State. She had 201 kills as a senior.
Johnson is a 6-4 right-side hitter from Flathead High School in Kalispell. She was first-team all-state as a junior and led her team to a state runner-up finish as a senior. She also holds a state record in the triple jump and carries a 4.0 grade point average.
Willey is a 6-0 outside hitter from Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah. She played for the Junior USA National Team at the NORCECA Championships in August; was named Intermountain USA Player of the Year and Under Armour first-team All-American in 2012; and MaxPreps Utah Player of the Year in 2012 while also maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. Her mother, Cindy, was a Hall of Fame volleyball player at Montana.
