ASU-Missouri game moved to Sept. 9
Arizona State announced Thursday that its game against Missouri has been moved to Friday, September 9 and will be televised nationally on ESPN. The game was moved from the original date of Saturday, September 10 to accommodate television requests.
It will be the first time ASU has played on a Friday night in September.
The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. local time and will be the only game televised nationally in that time slot. A game featuring Louisville and Florida International will precede the ASU-Missouri game on ESPN.
College teams normally avoid playing on Fridays so as not to hurt attendace at high school football games, but the Pacific-12 said deputy commissioner Kevin Weiberg spoke with the leadership of the Arizona Interscholastic Association prior to the scheduling change.
ASU also announced Thursday that ticket prices in 2011 will remain the same for current season-ticket holders.
