ASU-LSU football series set for 2022-23
LSU on Monday announced a future series with UCLA and in the process revealed the dates for its pending series with Arizona State in 2022 and 2023.
The Tigers will travel to Tempe for a Sept. 10, 2022, game at Sun Devil Stadium, while ASU will travel to Baton Rouge for a Sept. 9, 2023 game at Tiger Stadium.
The home-and-home series was originally set to be played in 2005 and 2008 but has since been postponed twice. The 2005 game in Baton Rouge was moved to Sun Devil Stadium due to Hurricane Katrina and served as fundraising effort for victims. The series was then reset for a 2015 and 2016.
The series was again pushed back after LSU scheduled a neutral site game against Wisconsin at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis., for 2016. ASU has since replaced the 2015 game with a game against Texas A&M at Reliant Stadium in Houston and replaced the 2016 game with a home game against Texas Tech.
ASU's future schedule beyond 2014 also includes home games against New Mexico, Cal Poly, Northern Arizona, New Mexico Sate, San Diego State, UTSA and BYU and road games against UTSA, Texas Tech, San Diego State and BYU.
