ASU baseball signs 18 recruits
Arizona State baseball coach Tim Esmay announced the signing of 18 recruits to national letters of intent. They will join the program for the 2011-12 school year and 2012 baseball season.
Nine of the 18 players come from Arizona programs: Catchers Nathaniel Causey of Gilbert High and Max Rossiter of Central Arizona College, infielder/pitcher Zach Davies of Gilbert Mesquite, right-handed pitchers Josh Dahl of Central Arizona, Zak MacDonald-Miller of Yavapai College and Scot Hoffman of Mesa Desert Ridge, left-handed pitcher Erik Wooten of Central Arizona, and outfielders Tyler Booth of Goodyear Millennium and Jake Peeveyhouse of Phoenix Pinnacle.
Nine of the recruits are pitchers, and seven are junior college transfers.
