An Ashtabula restaurant pulled no punches with a Facebook status update following the latest Cleveland Browns debacle.
Less than two hours after the Browns lost last Sunday, 32-28 to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Briquettes Smokehouse wrote that it was serving a "Weeden Burger," which would be "smothered in toppings which we systematically pick off right before your eyes while you watch helplessly."
It's been like that for Brandon Weeden, who suffered a concussion in the game and has yet to win a start this year. The Weeden Burger is not a real thing, but in the true spirit of Browns fans, the posting said it was served "with a half full glass of beer."
The comments made on the page under the status update are predictably interesting.
Ashtabula is on Lake Erie, about 60 miles northeast of Cleveland and about halfway between Cleveland and Erie, Pa. It is the hometown of Ohio State coach Urban Meyer.
According to its website, Briquettes Smokehouse opened in 2009 -- or, about nine Browns quarterbacks ago.
