Arizona adds four to spring football roster
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona football coach Rich Rodriguez has added four players this semester, making it a total of 10 newcomers to the spring roster.
The latest additions run the gamut from running back to kicker to wide receiver to an offensive lineman.
Jonathan Haden (5-foot-8, 190 pounds) is a running back from Upper Marlboro, Md. He is a three-star recruit (Scout.com) and played at Friendship Collegiate Academy.
T.J. Johnson (5-8, 165) is a receiver who played at Island Coast High in Cape Coral, Fla. He's a three-star recruit (Scout.com).
Michael Unzicker (6-2, 175) is a place kicker/punter from Palmetto (Fla.) High.
And Freddie Tagaloa (6-8, 330) is a transfer from Cal. He played for the Bears in 2012 and 2013. He's played in 18 games collegiately at left and right tackle. He adds size to an offensive line that needs it.
They join six junior college transfers who signed with Arizona in the fall and will be on the roster for the spring.
Arizona recently complete its season 8-5 with a win over Boston College in the AdvoCare V100 Bowl game.
