MIAMI (AP) -- A person familiar with the negotiations says veteran Kevin Curtis has signed with the Miami Dolphins to shore up their hobbled receiving corps.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity Tuesday because the Dolphins had not announced the deal.
Miami lost Brian Hartline last week with a season-ending injury to a finger on his left hand, and Brandon Marshall is slowed by a right hamstring injury.
Curtis played in only three games last year with Philadelphia because of a left knee injury and hasn't played this season while recovering from a bout with testicular cancer. The eighth-year veteran has 252 career receptions, 20 for touchdowns.
