Friday night was another banner game for the Pelicans star forward Anthony Davis.

This time, Davis set a new career high in points, recording 36 against the visiting Portland Trailblazers, replacing his former career high of 32 points.

Davis, as usual, played the most minutes for New Orleans: 39:53. He also had 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.

Before the game at the Smoothie King Center tipped, Davis also received the NBA's Community Assist Award for February from Kiki VanDeWeghe. The NBA chose to recognize Davis for his role in helping New Orleans prepare for the All-Star festivities and the host role he embraced during that weekend.
