Watching Anthony Davis play basketball was great before. He can jump super high and he has a single eyebrow that wraps around his face like a headband. But there is an exciting new photography technology called "full-court motion capture," which has been used by the people at Red Bull to capture the New Orleans Hornets rookie like never before.
The video is sort of an ad for Red Bull, but you still get Davis spinning a narrative about the city of New Orleans and his role in reviving it. And you see him playing basketball with an artistic perspective.
Davis is playing in the NBA's Rising Stars game -- rookies against second-year players -- as part of All-Star weekend on Friday in Houston. He averages 12.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.
