Another week, another review for Ndamukong Suh
Another hit by Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is being reviewed this week for possible disciplinary action.
Suh didn’t get flagged on the play, but Dean Blandino, the NFL’s vice president of officiating, has identified a hit on Cleveland quarterback Brandon Weeden for further review by the league.
The incident came to light after a “Total Access” video was posted on NFL.com.
In the video, Blandino points out that the play involving Suh should be looked at closer because of a “potential helmet to the body.”
Suh was fined $100,000 earlier this season for an illegal block to the knees of Minnesota offensive lineman John Sullivan during an interception return.
A week ago, there was speculation Suh could be disciplined for a trip in a game at Green Bay, but the league chose not to act.
He also wasn't penalized for an elbow/forearm that knocked an Arizona offensive lineman to the ground a couple weeks earlier.
Nevertheless, Suh's track record of on-field incidents over the last four years has seemingly made him a marked man by the NFL.
The league typically announces fines every Friday.
