Another Russian walker with doping issues
MOSCOW (AP) Another top Russian race-walker has been suspended on suspicion of doping in a case which heaps more pressure on the scandal-hit Russian team, widely considered the world's best.
Andrei Ruzavin, 28, is suspected of ''the use or attempted use by an athlete of a banned substance or banned method'' and is suspended from all competitions and official training camps, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency says.
With several team members serving suspensions or bans, Ruzavin has emerged as a leading competitor in recent months, winning bronze at the race-walking World Cup in Taiwan in May.
Russian anti-doping authorities are already investigating the national race-walking training center for a spate of positive tests.
At least 17 athletes from the center have received doping bans in recent years.
