ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Alaska Anchorage netminder Rob Gunderson stood on his head late Saturday night, securing 31 total saves to help the host Seawolves tie visiting Minnesota, 2-2.

Second-ranked Minnesota (6-2-1 overall, 3-2-1 WCHA) led, 1-0, early, following a Seth Ambroz score. But Alaska Anchorage fought tooth-and-nails from there, and largely controlled the middle portion of this conference matchup.

Alaska Anchorage (2-3-3 overall, 0-2-2 WCHA) got goals from Alex Gellert and Jordan Kwas, much to the delight of the crowd of 2,911 at Sullivan Arena.

Minnesota's Erik Haula scored a goal at the 13:31 mark of the third period to send the game into overtime.

After a scoreless overtime session, the squads settled for a tie. Gophers goalie Adam Wilcox helped see to that, as he registered 21 saves on the evening.
