Alabama commit Foster dons Saban hat
The Alabama commit with an Auburn tattoo has now added a Nick Saban-style hat to his repertoire.
Reuben Foster -- Scout.com's No. 2 overall prospect and top linebacker -- committed to Alabama on Monday, ending a long recruiting saga, and chose a stylish way to make it official Wednesday on National Signing Day.
The local Opelika-Auburn News posted a photo on its Twitter feed of Foster signing his name to his Letter of Intent, his head concealed by the same straw hat with an Alabama logo that Saban, the Crimson Tide coach, has made famous at team practices.
Foster's signature puts a stamp on a wild recruiting ride that began with a commitment to Alabama in July 2011, then a flip to Auburn in July 2012, then a second re-opening of the recruiting process in December before finally picking Alabama again on Monday.
After the Auburn commitment, Foster elected to get an Auburn tattoo on his arm, which could make for some awkward moments down the road.
For now, Alabama fans will take the signature and the Saban hat.
