There Kevin Sumlin was, delivering an impassioned address to a crowd of pro wrestling fans at a basketball arena in College Station, when WWE wrestler Big Show detonated.
Typical.
"Pardon me for interrupting this incredibly boring ceremony," Big Show said.
The crowd booed.
So Sumlin didn't get to finish his big recruiting pitch (or whatever that was). But he did get to play the protagonist in a viral video, and — in much the same way as with pro wrestling itself — make people ask: Real or fake?
