Aggies making sure everyone knows they are the real '12th Man'
With the Seattle Seahawks winning Super Bowl XLVIII Sunday night, the "12th Man" is getting a lot of attention lately, but Texas A&M is wanting to make sure everyone still knows they are the "12th Man's" real home.
Even though the Seahawks organization pays Texas A&M $5,000 a year as a result of a settlement between the two parties to use one of the university's proudest traditions, Aggie social media pages sent out a few friendly reminders right before Super Bowl XLVIII kickoff that the "12th Man" still resides at Kyle Field.
Texas A&M has always been and will always be "Home of the #12thMan"! http://t.co/AHkuIMDw4s

Also, before the Seahawks' first playoff game against the Saints on Jan. 11, Texas A&M football's official Twitter profile sent out their own dig at Seattle.

Current Seahawks defensive end Red Bryant, who played at Texas A&M, even weighed in on the issue during the Super Bowl media day saying, "the 12th Man is in College Station, Texas."
Soon-to-be NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel got in a post too during the Seahawk's playoff run.
Needless to say, despite an agreement being in place, there is still a lot of animosity in Aggies everywhere with Seattle's version of "12th Man" getting so much attention.
