GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Atlantic Coast Conference has set its bowl lineup for its first season as a 14-team league.
The league announced Monday that it will have eight guaranteed bowl slots and a conditional deal for a ninth bowl.
The league champion will go to the Orange Bowl if it is not in the national title game. If only one ACC team makes a BCS bowl, the next pick belongs to the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
The Russell Athletic Bowl picks next, followed by the Sun, Belk, Music City, Advocare V100 -- formerly the Independence -- and Military bowls.
The league also has a conditional deal with the Fight Hunger Bowl if either the Pac-12 or BYU can't fulfill its commitment.
