Each year the nation's top collegiate football player is awarded the Maxwell Award. The Maxwell Football Club released the preseason watch list for this award on Tuesday.
With 15 selected, the ACC had more players on the watch list than any other conference. In addition, 15 ACC players were selected for the Chuck Bednarik Defensive Player of the Year preseason watch list.
