CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's basketball Fast Break Club is seeking new members and the renewal of old members for the upcoming 2013-14 campaign, as announced by the program Friday.

The Fast Break Club, which serves as a fundraising arm of the 49ers program, allows members to receive numerous benefits for the low cost of $60. Members will be sent weekly emails on happenings within the program, be sent an invitation to one pre-game or post-game event early in the season, be eligible to be the Fast Break Club member of the game (one family per game), which includes a seat behind the Charlotte bench and entrance to the locker room before and after the game, and an invitation to the postgame press conference with head coach Cara Consuegra and selected players.

Members also receive invitations to a senior night reception, a practice and pizza party at the beginning of the season, a holiday card with the team and Consuegra and an invitation to an end-of-year social at Picasso’s-University.

Lastly, membership in the club features a birthday card signed by the coaching staff and a discounted rate on the 49ers Gold Card, which gives admission for a family of four to all home regular-season games for women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.

By also joining, club members will have a chance to purchase an official Fast Break Club t-shirt for just $10.
