Ohio State's 2014 football recruiting class grew to 15 with the verbal commitment of Texas offensive lineman Demetrius Knox.
Or should we call it a Twitteral commitment?
OK, maybe that's not a term that's going to catch on, but it does describe the way the 6-4, 305-pound Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints High School senior-to-be shared his college choice with the world.

Knox is rated the No. 7 offensive guard in the country by Scout.com and a major pickup for head coach Urban Meyer, who pegged the OL as a major area of need for this class after signing only two in February. With one of those freshmen – Tim Gardner of Indianapolis – sent home following an arrest in July, Ohio State is set to start preseason practice next weekend with 14 scholarship linemen, including four seniors.
Knox is the fourth offensive lineman to commit to Meyer and the Buckeyes for the 2014 class, joining four-star prospects Jamarco Jones of Chicago and Kyle Trout of Lancaster along with Cleveland Glenville's Marcelys Jones, a three-star prospect who is considered on the rise after working out at a handful of schools in the South and appearing at a couple of combines.
Although Knox is prepping in Texas and counts as the ninth out-of-state recruit in his class, he grew up in southwestern Ohio and told Scout.com earlier in July he has always seen Ohio State as his home school.
"Ever since second grade it has been Ohio State," the four-star prospect said. "I have thought about it. Dominate in high school and go to Ohio State and then go to the NFL."
He picked the Buckeyes over offers from schools such as Florida State, UCLA, Miami (Fla.), Mississippi, Oregon and Alabama.
