3 Takeaways from the Blue Jackets' 3-1 win over Dallas

One: The Blue Jackets, on the second night of back-to-back games, came out skating hard and had the legs moving. From the drop of the puck, they were a step ahead of the Stars. They lived up to their identity and didn't look back. This is the effort that will be needed in the playoffs.

Two: They had a heavy, deep forecheck working for them, and they didn't want to let Dallas get back in the game after starting with a one-goal lead. While they did let their foot off the pedal in the third, it was to no avail for the Stars. Once next week rolls around, a full 60 minutes must be played each and every night.

Three: Sergei Bobrovsky is playing very well as Columbus gets set to enter the playoffs. The main difference from last year is that he doesn't need to play out of his mind to give this club a chance every night. Other players are stepping up as needed. This is a more mature team than the one that started the season back in October.
