The DQ BIG GAME OF THE WEEK, one of the most popular features of FOX Sports Southwest's Friday night high school football coverage, returns in 2015 for its 13th season.
The 2015 season schedule was announced today at the Texas High School Coaches Association's annual Coaching School and Convention in Houston.
Beginning with Week One on Aug. 28 and continuing through the end of the regular season, FOX Sports Southwest reporter Neil Beasley and a camera crew will travel on the FOX Sports Southwest High School Express luxury bus to one of the state's most prominent games and capture the "big game" atmosphere around town.
The behind-the-scenes DQ BIG GAME OF THE WEEK segment highlights the passion of Friday night high school football in Texas and will be shown each week on HIGH SCHOOL SCOREBOARD LIVE Fridays at midnight CT (replayed Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. CT) and on HIGH SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT Sundays at 10:30 p.m. CT (replayed Mondays at 3:00 p.m. CT). Beasley and crew will attend school pep rallies, visit the local Dairy Queen, and take viewers on campus, around the community and inside the locker room for an intimate look at high school football in Texas.
The 48-foot FOX Sports Southwest High School Express promotional bus wrapped in fullscale high school action photos will roll into town each week and serve as the backdrop at pep rallies and other fan activities.
