Two young girls and their aunt were hospitalized Saturday when a tree limb fell on them at a youth league game in Hartford, Conn., The Hartford Courant reported.

The woman and her nieces were watching from the bleachers at Elizabeth Park when the branch fell, trapping them until other spectators were able to lift it off them.

"As one we were able to get those girls out of there," said witness Melvin Ramos, who helped lift the branch. "I never felt so much adrenaline in my life."

Emergency crews arrived on the scene and transported the woman and children to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. One of them was listed in critical condition, police said, but officers did not say who it was.
