18 NAU hoops games on FOX Sports Arizona
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – NAU-TV along with regional network FOX Sports Arizona and national channel FOX College Sports will televise 23 NAU men’s and women’s basketball games this season, with an unprecedented 18 broadcasts to air live on FOX Sports Arizona or FOX Sports Arizona Plus. NAU-TV will produce 12 men’s basketball games and 11 women’s games for distribution through FOX Sports, providing NAU unmatched television coverage in the Big Sky conference.
All 23 broadcasts will air live on NAU-TV, available in Flagstaff on Suddenlink cable channels 4 and 104 in HD and online on NAU-TV.com, as well as FOX College Sports, a collection of three channels (Pacific, Central, Atlantic) available nationally on digital cable and on DirecTV channels 617 and 623. FOX Sports Arizona is available on basic cable and satellite (DirecTV 686, Dish 365/415) throughout Arizona as well as parts of New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada.
FOX Sports Arizona Plus is a second channel used by FOX Sports Arizona when programming conflicts arise.
It’s offered on DirecTV (695/695-1 HD) as well as Suddenlink channel 125. Dish offers it as well, and the channel location varies by game.
Coverage begins with women’s basketball’s home opener - and the first home game for new head coach Sue Darling - against CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 12. The first home game for new head coach Jack Murphy and the men’s team will also air live on FOX Sports Arizona Plus against Sam Houston State on Dec. 1. The Voice of the Lumberjacks Mitch Strohman heads the broadcast team along with Jordan Byrd and analysts Dave Brown and Sharon Falor.
