Watch Shaun White perform with his band on 'The Tonight Show'

Shaun White made his first televised performance after his disappointing Sochi Olympics turn when the snowboarder's band, Bad Things, debuted their single "Caught Inside" on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" Thursday night.

Lead guitarist White, who opted out of the Burton US Open snowboarding championships to tour with his bandmates, looked more than content to trade his snowboard for a six-string and share the spotlight with his fellow Los Angeles-based music crew.

The "Tonight Show" cameras made sure to keep snowboarding's most recognizable face in most of the performance frame, even after lead singer Davis LeDuke inexplicably pulled a Tobias Funke from "Arrested Development" and "blue himself" with a Smurf-colored beard midway through the single.

Bad Things released their eponymous album earlier this year. Next up on their concert schedule: South by Southwest in Austin.
