Olympic all-around champion Simone Biles plans to return to training after a break and compete at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, according to USA Today's Christine Brennan.

“I’ll take some time off first but then I’ll get back at it and try for 2020,” Biles told USA Today.

“I’ll take maybe a year off because there’s no way I can do everything that I’m doing as well as commit to training 100 percent,” she added.

In August, Biles cemented her legacy as one of the greatest gymnasts of all-time by winning four gold medals and one bronze medal.

Biles will be 23 years old if she competes in Japan and would follow in the footsteps of previous all-around champion Gabby Douglas of making back-to-back U.S. gymnastics teams.
