Can Sonny knock off psychic octopus?
There are 40 million sheep in New Zealand, but three-year-old Sonny Wool is believed to be the only rugby genius, FOX Sports Australia reported Friday.
As a youngster he could read the weather but now it's more serious than that. He is being entrusted to tip each New Zealand All Blacks game for the Rugby World Cup, which starts Friday night.
Sonny will pick the outcome of the host nation's games by choosing between two containers of food, each marked with a flag of the teams playing.
He has already decided New Zealand will open with a win against Tonga on Friday.
Owner Dan Boyle expects the sheep to at least match the 2010 World Cup success of Paul the octopus, who became famous for correctly predicting the winner of each of Germany's seven matches at the 2010 soccer World Cup.
