Olympic bronze medalist Beth Tweddle has retired from gymnastics, a year after winning her medal on the uneven bars at the London Games.
Tweddle says "I know now deep down I can't commit to the hours and training to remain at the very top."
The 28-year-old Tweddle is Britain's most successful gymnast with three world and six European gold medals.
Tweddle, who has not competed since winning her first Olympic medal last year, says "it's been a hard decision to make, gymnastics has been and always will be a massive part of my life."

Tweddle, who won seven national championships, also won a gold and two silver medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
