Stewart-Haas Racing's Kurt Busch had the fifth fastest lap of the session. Ryan Newman, Joey Logano, Austin Dillon, Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top 10.

Edwards also had the best 10-consecutive lap average, followed by Hamlin, Kyle Larson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Paul Menard and Justin Allgaier.
