The latest sneak peak at “Cars 3” takes a closer look at the movie’s chief antagonist Jackson Storm, voiced by Armie Hammer.
Storm is a new-generation high-tech race car who is Lightning McQueen’s new rival on track. Running behind Storm during a race, McQueen suffers a dramatic crash at the Florida 500. Following the wreck, McQueen meets up with a lifelong fan named Cruz Ramirez, who helps train him to get back up to speed and on the track.
Owen Wilson will voice McQueen while Ramirez will be voiced by Cristela Alonzo. NASCAR personalities Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Daniel Suarez, Bubba Wallace, Darrell Waltrip, Shannon Spake, Humpy Wheeler, Jeff Gordon, Richard Petty, Kyle Petty, Mike Joy and Ray Evernham will also lend their voice to various characters in the movie.
“Cars 3” hits theaters on June 16.
