This time of year most places are covered in snow and ice, and the weather warnings are all telling us to stay indoors drinking hot chocolate rather than being out on the roads trying to drive like Sebastien Loeb.
Black ice is hard enough to drive on at the best of times, so imagine what it’s like in a Formula One car that can barely handle a few drops of rain sometimes.
During a show car run at the Bologna Motorshow in 2012, Daniel Ricciardo showed off some incredible car control to put on a show for the fans despite the course being covered in black ice.
