Visor cam: Ride onboard with James Hinchcliffe at Toronto
The stars of the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series were in action just a few days ago at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa.
On Sunday, they will be racing on a completely different kind of circuit as they arrive at the streets of Toronto for the 11th round of the season.
The race will be held on the temporary 1.755-mile street circuit at Exhibition Place, which features slight changes to its layout and pitlane.
For James Hinchcliffe, this will be the first time he has raced in his home country since his near-fatal crash at Indianapolis last year.
With that being said, who better to mount the visor cam onto ahead of this weekend’s event than the mayor of Hinchtown.
Hinchcliffe, who races the No. 5 Honda for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, comes into the race 13th in points and was 19th fastest in Friday morning’s practice, which was topped by Sebastien Bourdais. He was fifth fastest in Friday's evening practice, which was topped by point leader Simon Pagenaud.
