Visor cam gives you driver's perspective for IndyCar race at Detroit
One of the coolest things ahead of an IndyCar race is the “Visor Cam” they give you to get a driver’s perspective of the racetrack.
The track in question for this weekend is the 2.34-mile, 13-turn Raceway at Belle Isle Park in Detroit, which the series shares this weekend with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
The course plays host to Rounds 7 and 8 of the 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series, less than one week after the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
While it was Alexander Rossi who came away the victor of that round, Conor Daly was not so fortunate, getting caught up in a wreck mid-race. However, the Dale Coyne Racing driver was back on track this weekend, and is your “guide” for six minutes of intense action here at Belle Isle Park ahead of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit.
