2011 Indianapolis 500 champion: Dan Wheldon.
Wheldon was killed in a race accident on Oct. 16 at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway. His widow, Susie, and two young sons are expected to be
in attendance during pre-race ceremonies to honor the two-time Indy
500 champion. Wheldon's car owner, Bryan Herta, will drive the
winning 2011 car in a lap of honor around the track before the race
begins.
