DETROIT (AP) The International Motorsports Association says a safety worker who was hospitalized after a race Saturday at Belle Isle is in stable condition with broken ribs, a collapsed lung and injuries to his spleen and kidney.

Several cars were involved in an accident scene at the end of Saturday's TUDOR United SportsCar Championship race, including one car that crashed into a safety truck that was on the track. One safety worker was evaluated and released from the infield care center, and another was hospitalized.
