Three drivers will be making their Formula E debut in Uruguay this weekend.

The announcement came on Tuesday that Salvador Duran will be driving Katherine Legge’s No. 77 Amlin Aguri car.

Jean-Eric Vergne and Antonio Garcia will also be making their FIA Formula E debuts this weekend.

Legge, meanwhile, will be unable to make the race due to TUDOR Championship commitments:

Legge has been one of two drivers (Bruno Senna being the other) who have received FanBoost during both FIA Formula E races so far, which could open up the door for another driver to get FanBoost for the first time in Punta del Este.

Salvador Duran, a 29-year-old Mexican, has a solid list of racing achievements to his name, including winning the 2007 24 Hours of Daytona.

“I’m delighted with the opportunity to join the Amlin Aguri team and am very grateful to embark on this new venture with an exciting new team in a brand new sport,” Duran told FIAFormulaE.com.

“I have been following the team and the championship closely and I can see that this car reacts differently which is a fantastic challenge. I am a big fan of both clean energy and this new electric technology and I believe innovation from this series will help develop transport solutions that will make a big difference to the lives of people right across Latin America and the world.”

The race will be shown LIVE on FOX Sports 2 at 1 p.m. ET Saturday.
