Nico Rosberg, Formula 1 World Championship leader and German World Cup soccer fan, will be wearing a special helmet at the Hockenheim circuit this weekend.

Rosberg, who was born in Germany but grew up in Monaco, considers the German Grand Prix his "second home grand prix" of the season and will be wearing a German-World-Cup-team-themed helmet in celebration of the nation's World Cup victory last Sunday.

Rosberg will be hoping that his new helmet livery will help him return to his winning ways in the Formula 1 championship, after he retired from the lead last time out in the British Grand Prix.

Rosberg was forced to remove the image of the FIFA World Cup trophy after releasing the image of the design.

Rosberg now sits a mere four points ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton in the drivers standings and will be fighting for every point that he can as the series enters the halfwaypoint of the season.
