Country singer Martina McBride will sing the national anthem at the May 27 Indianapolis 500.
McBride's website announced her selection Wednesday.
The Grammy-winning singer is a four-time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year and three-time Academy of Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year. She has sold more than 18 million albums and had six No. 1 singles.
McBride says singing the national anthem at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a ''huge honor.''
