Just one day after Honda unveiled its speedway Aero Kit, Chevrolet followed suit releasing images of the bodywork configuration that the bowtie team will race at speedways over one mile in length in 2015, beginning with the Indianapolis 500.
As always with the Aero Kits, many of the wings and pieces featured on the Chevrolet kit will be adjustable, if not even removable, so that each driver and team can set up their ideal configuration for the big race on May 24.
The speedway Aero Kits will first take to the track on Sunday during the first Open Test at the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Official practice for the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 will begin on May 11.

The speedway configuration, which was developed in conjunction with the road course configuration, emphasizes the low-drag attributes that enable Chevrolet race cars to achieve speeds of more than 230 mph at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's famous 2.5-mile oval.
