Dan Kennedy recorded his second shutout of the season, helping winless Chivas USA play the Vancouver Whitecaps to a scoreless draw on Saturday night.

Whitecaps goalkeeper Jay Nolly made a point-blank save on Ben Zemanski in the second minute while earning his first shutout of the season.

The scoreless game came after Vancouver had allowed 10 goals in its previous five games. The Whitecaps (1-2-3) remain unbeaten in four home games. Chivas (0-2-3) has yet to record a win.

Vancouver striker Eric Hassli started after serving a one-game suspension. He'd earned the ban by throwing his jersey into the crowd April 6 to receive his second yellow card of that game.
