Finnish midfielder-defender Teemu Tainio and defender Stephen Keel have signed with major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls.
The 31-year-old Tainio had been with Ajax but appeared in just two matches this season. He is a veteran of five years in the English Premier League time with Birmingham (2009-10), Sunderland (2008-09) and Tottenham (2005-08). He also spent eight years with Auxerre in France.
Keel, 27, spent last year with Portland in the American minor leaguers.
